A home inspection is not “Pass or Fail”
After Receiving the Inspection Report…
- The buyers reviews and discusses with their real estate professional. The agent
advises them on which items they should ask the seller to repair. The agent
then negotiates for these items on their clients’ behalf.
- The sellers may deny the buyers’ requests. In some scenarios,
they may hire their own inspectors / technicians to verify property condition
or get a second opinion.
- If the inspection goes terribly and there are too many issues
with the house, the buyer may choose to walk away.
